What does perfection look like? Who really knows? What I know is that I love life, I love my family and I love the beautiful people around me. I am lucky to see my beautiful children growing up around me, and I am proud of them. I am lucky because God gave me so much beauty around me. And I am lucky because I am able to see this. Although it took me half my life to understand this, I’m still lucky. I haven’t always been like this. Life is not a smooth road. It has many ups and down, obstacles and sudden changes of direction. It took me almost 50 years to accept it the way it is. At the same time, I accept what is different in my life. The different way I see things, the different way I think. We are all different. And my paintings show the way I see everything around me. Each painting is accompanies by a short story, a quote or a poem to emphasize what I painted.
